Fens Marina Pioneer, founder of Fox Narrowboats Ltd. He was perhaps the greatest supporter of boating in the Middle Level. He retired in 1997 and continued to sail the British Isles & Europe and later cruised the Inland Waterways system. Boating was his life and passion and he always said if he had lived on the coast he would have voluntered to have been a lifeboatman instead he became a retained firemand for 25 years.
